STANFORD UNIVERSITY ANTHROPOLOGIST DR. CHERYLL ALIPIO PRESENTED WITH A COMMEMORATIVE COIN
On December 5, 2025, Consul General of Mongolia in San Francisco B. Munkhbaatar presented anthropologist Dr. Cheryll Alipio, Associate Director for Program and Policy at the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) of Stanford University, with a commemorative coin sent by the President of Mongolia, U. Khurelsukh.
Dr. Alipio is a researcher specializing in social change in the region, family and youth development, and issues related to cultural and economic transitions.
The commemorative coin was presented in recognition of her valuable contribution to the forum “Sustainability Dialogue 2025 – Climate Change: One Billion Trees.”
