On August 24, 2025, Consul General B. Munkhbaatar hosted a group of gifted Mongolian students from Plumrose Piano Studio at the Consulate General of Mongolia in San Francisco. These young musicians are students of piano teacher Ichinkhorloo Batnasan, and have achieved notable success in prestigious piano competitions both in the United States and internationally.

The young pianists — Sonor Gantsogt (age 9), Uchral Battogtokh (age 9), Enguun Batzayaa (age 11), Tselmuun Batzayaa (age 11), and Sondor Soronzonbold (age 11) — have successfully participated in competitions such as the San Francisco International Piano Competition and other international events. Their talent has earned them invitations to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City, proudly representing Mongolia on the global stage.

Consul General B. Munkhbaatar praised the students for their outstanding talent, hard work, and dedication, and presented each of them with a Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the Consulate General for their role in elevating Mongolia’s image internationally.

On this occasion, teacher Ichinkhorloo Batnasan was also recognized for her significant contribution to promoting Mongolian classical music abroad and enhancing cultural diplomacy. She was formally presented with the "Certificate of Appreciation" from the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, awarded by Minister Ch. Undram.

Currently based in San Francisco, Ichinkhorloo continues to train students who compete successfully on the international stage. As a pianist and educator, she is committed to nurturing artistic and intellectual growth, fostering academic excellence, and advancing global music education. Her work plays a meaningful role in the development of future generations of artists and cultural ambassadors.

We wish continued academic and artistic success to the award-winning young musicians and extend heartfelt congratulations to teacher Ichinkhorloo for her dedication and impactful contributions to the future of the arts.
